Finished in 14th place!

We finished in 14th place. We had a rough last couple weeks – we played some good teams who just consistently beat our average. While some of us beat our average the last few weeks, there weren’t really any games where we all beat our average on the same game – more like 1 or 2 of us would have a good game, but that would be negated by someone else having a bad game, all while the other team’s players would have 3 out of 4 players having “the best night of the season”. (how lucky we got to be a part of it!)

But we finished in the top half – awesome job considering we aren’t long time league bowlers! We all won some money, (like 10-20, depending on how often you bowled) so unless you missed a payment or something I'll pay you when I see you next!
Please respond to this blog post if you’re interested in bowling next year, if you haven't already – the season starts January 3rd and January is a 5 Tuesday month, so if you’re interested please let me know your availability for January as well. (and don’t forget, our averages start over in January as well)
Here’s the season’s high scores:

Pearl - 155

Agnes – 135

Wilbur - 175

Gus – 247

Esme – 176

Eudors 189

Millicent – 168

Ethel - 146

Good job, enjoy your break and hope to see most, if not all, of you next year!

December schedule

Here's December's schedule:

We were in 5th last week, but we played the Starrs and only one one game. (they have a couple of pretty good bowlers on their team; one of which Gus and I have seen bowl a 299 before...he's the kind of guy that does a little celebration move as his ball first hits the pins because he knows they are all going down). But hey, we won one game and if we can win one game every time we're doing pretty well - and should stay in the top 3rd.

Reply via blog post if you're interested in bowling in January-the "season" starts over.
