We slipped from 3rd to 8th in the past month and since we prebowled the 14th, I had no idea where we were for the position round- I figured at least in the first half! It was a nice suprise to see we took all 7 games the 14th and were in 6th place!
The first game was superclose, with Gus winning it in the 10th for us by 7 pins- oh the tension! The second game Eudora and I both had awesome games with 30+pins over our averages! I got my first turkey in the 10th, which I celebrated with some silly turkey gobbling. (thank god no one thought to record it!!!) We won the 2nd game by about 55ish pins. The last game...well, the other team ALL bowled to their potential and we didn't. I missed my average by about 5 pins, Gus missed his, and even though Wilbur and Eudora got theirs...the other team beat us by about 100 pins and thus, won total points. (so we got 4 points, they got 3)
But hey, that means we won more than we lost, so we're still likely in the 4th - 8th place, which is great!
